European schools for a living planet
EUROPEAN SCHOOLS FOR A LIVING PLANET
We started the project with the Academy of WWF and ERSTE Foundation from 17th to 23rd of October 2009.

30 teachers and 30 students from 10 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine) took part.

We focused on three topics:
  • the Danube – Europe’s lifeline
  • the Ecological Footprint – consumption and global effects
  • Active citizenship – get active and motivate others

Now all the participants  are working on their projects in each school.

In June 2010 the teachers will be invited to the final event in Austria. There all the 30 school projects will be presented and one of them will be choosen as the best by the participants themselve. This winner-class will be invited to Austria for a nature-adventure-week in September 2009.
