School Assembly

Hello , everybody . from Liptovský Mikuláš , Slovakia

It is a small town in the north of Slovakia , about 32,000 inhabitants .
Our school is here , too. It is named after Aurel Stodola , a great    Slovak scientist . There are more than 200 students , 14 classes .   There are four buildings here : the main one with classes , teacher´s  room and cabinets , the second one is a gym , the third is a small school kitchen and a workroom , and the last one - school canteen and school club for smaller children . We have got a playground , too - for doing exercises , practising sport , walking during breaks , etc .

We are a group of teenagers , called ATECH / Action Teams Enviro Children / . We are anxious to do something with environment . Last school year  we started our activity . The main thing was separating waste . We are a member of Climate Alliance . We competed . We were successful , we won a competition in Slovakia . We gained the first place and honest title The School of Climate Alliance .

Now , we we want to continue and spread our activities . We take part in an International project Schools for a living planet and work on our own project .

We are a good team . The best , the unique one .You can make sure of it . Look at us .
