Private School of Economics Katarina Zrinski

Private School of Economics Katarina Zrinski was founded in 1997. It developed a specific approach towards capacitating students, directed towards acquiring knowledge and skills necessary to run small and middle-sized businesses.

The school has opened its doors for those who want to acquire a high-quality education for the occupation of economist.

The process of instruction is carried out completely in small groups (up to 18 pupils). This enables individualization of teaching, facilitating learning of subject matters to students.

Desks in classrooms are placed in a semicircle, enabling pupils and professors to cooperate optimally, simultaneously making it easier to implement modern teaching methods and mentorship.

Every first Wednesday during a month in our school is a Business Wednesday. On this day pupils implement their knowledge in a simulated business environment. All pupils and all professors must come dressed up as businessmen.

Pupils and professors of our school regularly go to the theatre, museums, galleries and other cultural events in our city. They also participate in various humanitarian events like “My fair angel” and “Terry Fox Run”. We give donations to schools situated in areas of special state care in Vukovar, Beli Manastir, Ilok, Djakovo and Petrinja.

Our school organizes trips to fairs of training companies abroad every year, where we have an opportunity to establish new contacts, acquire new knowledge and to get acquainted with new ways of doing business and communicating.
