Specialized School 211 Kyiv, Ukraine is the unique educational establishment where the union of the educational process and extra-curriculum activity gives the positive results for the development of the child's personality.

The school has 900 pupils and 70 teachers. Principal's name is Mr Victor Vakulenko.
Our school is specialized in profound learning of English from the first form, Ukrainian language and Literature. Besides, our school has two titles:
“Peace School” - we were officially recognized in 1993 after 10 year cooperation with the Ukrainian movement "Educators for Peace and Understanding", and the participant of UNESCO project "UNESCO ASPnet" from 2000.

Some words about history of our school.
Our school was founded 35 years ago, this January we celebrated this small anniversary.
It is the second school in our district which is called "Obolon" and it is famous for its brewery "Obolon" which produces beer, mineral water and soft drinks.
Our residential area is really fascinating, it is situated near the Dnieper river and its bay. And our school is very close to it as well.

Now our school occupies two buildings, that's why the primary school works separately. The main building contains 30 classrooms, 2 gymnasiums, the Assembly hall, a library a canteen and the pride of our school is the Museum of Glory dedicated to heroes of the Second  World War.

The school life is interesting and cognitive for pupils. Different clubs, circles and societies attract children and they don't want to leave school after lessons.
The main project of school life is peace making activity. We have our own traditions and we maintain international links with different schools and organizations in the world. In April, 2008  Peaceschool Team participated in the Model of the European Parliament. We were the winners of the first Mondialogo UNESCO project in 2004.

Ecological projects have become very popular recently and we make the joint ecological project with our partners in Stockholm, Sweden.
